APS Cold Air Kit
Not had problems with water, but if you have a MAF sensor you will have to add 20-25% fuel to get the AFR you started with! In other words your engine may detonate to bits if you don't remap it.
For my the standard fuel map and 550 injectors and fuel pump gave a standard fuel map AFR! (std injectors are 440).

Simon,
I have one of these fitted on my MY99 STI-V, they are prone to killing the MAF sensors so be warned, luckily for me my car is Linked so I do not use the MAF anyway, as for taking in moisture and water I have had no problem with mine so far, that includes driving in some severe weather and driving thru puddles, apart from the MAF issues I can recommend it on my personal experiences

Thanks John and Toby. Forgot to mention running MoTec so not using MAF anyway. Replacing a Blitz SUS unit, which has been running OK, but seems to draw hot air in from the engine bay, rather than cold air that I hope the APS unit will do for me.
I can only agree with the above! If you do get one make sure you get an ECUTEK TEK re-mapp otherwise the lean the air-fuel mixture out so much you WILL end up causing damage. If im not mistaken APS actually recommend an ECU upgrade.
BOB, wont APS cold air kit work well with LINK or ecutek???
Cheers
