ive just brought a 99 scooby with ppp, totaly mint, totaly mean ,but sometimes i get a feeling that the front end is a little twitchy -like tramlining, in normal driving. is this normal? the wheels/tyres are standard- could it be air pressure differences? also are ap racing brakes better OR prodrive alcon ? lots of questions please give me lots of answers CHEERS

Try tyre pressures, I run mine quite hard (36psi) which I find improves the handling considerably for 32 psi.

I used to find my car twitchy, then I took off Pzeros and fitted Goodyear F1's, I would not go back to Pzeros. If you tyres are standard they are Bridgestone RE010, which aren't too good.

As to AP vs Alcons, a lot has been said in the 'Wheels, Tyres and Brakes Forum' a couple of weeks back. I think the jist of it was, AP's better stopping power etc, but Alcons cheaper and better dealer support.

Other things to check are the suspension geometry and tracking.

Tyres and pressures do make a huge difference.
