How many litres of oil does it take to do an oil and filter change on an Impreza Turbo MY96?

I just changed the oil in this car for the first time, fed up with paying the dealer.. but assumed it would be about 4 litres..

put 4 litres in and it is on the minimum mark..

Have to pop out in the other car in the morning to get some

I prefer to know the amount it takes than rely on the dipstick..

Just should have asked before I did the change rather than after.

When i took my 306 to Skip brown to be serviced on friday, it only had 2.5 litres of oil in the car, instead of 5. I wondered why the oil light came on

 

Who stole the other 2.5 litres?
