loss of power in 4th

I was accelerating in 4th the other day and hit a sudden loss of power. This has happened before, but usually only in fourth gear when accelerating hard (to overtake).
My car is a UK Turbo MY00 with a blitz SUS induction kit, HKS BOV and scoobysport backbox.
Does anyone know what could cause this?
