STi rear lights + fog light?

Looking at putting at red/clear STi rear lights on my P1 but was wondering about the fog light.
I don't want an extra bodge-on light hanging off the back so is it possible to just put the fog light red bulb/assembly into one of the clear reversing lights? Would this be legal?

My car passed the SVA in 98 and a recent mot with an additional bright bulb in the red part of the o/s light. I believe that there is a vacant hole for it.

Simon, I did the same as Hol. Carefully cut a hole the same as the one for the other light, and cut the two notches out for it to clip in. May need a shorter bulb tho as it may touch the inner part of the lens.(Depends where you cut the hole!!)
