The Chequers in Redbourn seems to be favoured (Good food, big car park) or the Crooked Chimney, Lemsford for the same reasons???

Okay, I'll take this one by the organisational ***** if you want. I think the Chequers in Redbourne has had its far share of meets over the past year, so lets try something alittle more north....

I think the suggestion of the Crooked Chimney in Lemsford (this is the one opposite Brocket Hall) is the best idea. Its more or less in the middle of everyone.

Shall we say the 10th of November (sunday) as the provisional date?

p.s. the Crooked Billet is a Vintage Inn, bloody nice food. The car park ain't that big, probably 50-60 cars, we would have to make it 1200hrs before Granny and the family turns up...

You might want to post a map, because I've lived in Herts for over 30 years and I don't have the faintest idea where lemsip is

Tis a huge pub but sadly I won't be there due to prior commitments
PS, you might want to check with owners of pub as other Sunday meets are usually timed to avoid the sunday lunch rush!
