Anybody thinking of a blast in the lakes had better watch out for an unmarked red vauxhall astra. It hangs about on the Kendal bypass, and looks just like a "boy-racer" car. Big alloys exhaust etc. The sort of thing that if it came up quickly behind you you would be quite tempted to teach a lesson.

I can vouch for C H A Z , he is a geniune Scoob owner. Thanks for the info mate I'll look out for it as I have been known to press on a bit along that stretch. Hope he didn't catch you !!

Not just there. The same? Astra Gsi can be spotted in various parts of north Cumbria. I've often seen it on the A66 in the Keswick area.

No, but an unmarked volvo did. Read strange faults posting about six lines down on previous page.

 

The ASTRA has a FHM reg and double arials on the back window, usually the guy has a white shirt on trying to look normal, give him a wave and really spoil his day. Also watch out for the two DBM Subaru's in the Ingleton Kirby Lonsdale area, they also have a white Jam Sandwich version.
