Gurgling from rear after fuel primed?

hi
this happened to me this afternoon.
after turning the ignition on, the fuel (think its fuel) is primed. ok - normal sound from back of car as it happens.
then.. once its done it, theres a gurgling and bubbling sound from back of car.
any ideas?
its a MY99 Uk Turbo.
Something to contact dealer about?
i could recreate it there - with out starting car. but once i got to my destination - it would not do it again.
