Impreza V's Legacy Exhaust
If its a Legacy turbo, then Mongose make a complete stainless system, but it removes the cat. Nice quality exhaust, but a little loud. I have one on my 91 saloon. Other option is HKS Drager which keeps cat. Both around £500, no mods needed other than cat removal on Mongoose.
You can make an Impreza back box fit a legacy , You need to cut the connecting flange off both the back box and legacy center pipe and weld a length of tapered pipe to the bax box , this is because the Legacy exhaust has a smaller diameter than the Impreza , you also have to move one of the mounting bars at the tailpipe end of the back box . This is how mine was done , by a place in Southampton and they charged me £70.
The other way would be to have somebody extend the centre section on the Legacy or have one made up , this should be cheaper as it is just an empty tube , I don't know where he is based but there is a chap in the London area called Mike The Pipe who can custom build you an exhaust .
Hope this helps

I fitted a scoobysport impreza back box to my 1991 2.2 GX 4WD legacy saloon . I had to modify all 3 brackets on the box , change the joint from flange to sleeve fit and reduce the pipe from 3" to 2" to suit the existing system . All in all a pig of a job and only I got the box cheap 2/h and I was able to do the work myself it would be cheaper and handier to buy a proper legacy box .
