Question

Anyone?

I am currently living and working in Cyprus and have bought myself a MY01 STi to buzz around in. My question is - Should I return to the UK (which is due fairly soon) and wish to bring my car back with me (highly likely!), what modifications are required to pass the relevant SVA? (or is that ESVA??)
Has anyone (including Import Companies) come across any major difficulties with the import of these vehicles?

I know that it will require the Speedo changed to 'mph' and a rear foglight fitted. But what else will need done? (Is the remote alarm within the legal Freq range for UK?, etc, etc.)

I'd be very grateful for any help or advice that can be given.

Cheers!

Thumbs up

Lots of useful info. Cheers lads!

Does anyone know of an importer who has brought a STi into the country since 01 Aug 01?

Or someone who has had to put their MY01 STi through an Enhanced SVA test?

I'd give my left 'you know what' for a copy of their report!!
