hi all just thought wud tell u about my wrx98 that had the head gasket done at 50thou drove it 11miles and it threw the crank out,after 2mnth sourceing a new bottom end,and now 3grand later after runnin it gently for over a thous mile decided to go a bit further to alton towers sun,got 200mile and guess wot?the bottom end went again,just my luk, and i thought subaru's were bulletproof,its always had superunleaded,optimax,and octane boost,frequent oil changes,its back at the garage now so await the outcome but needlesss to say im not happy,maybe get rid and get a evo maybe have more luk,just had to share my problem,best wishes,

Sorry to hear your trouble. Perhaps look to see if there is any explanation for recurrent failures?

 

I once had an Escort like this. If owt could go wrng with it, it did. The most unreliable car I ever had, unfortunately, finances dictated that it was also the car I kept longest of any. D'Oh!!
