Question

I changed the place on the inlet manifold where I measure the boost from here

to here

and the peak boost shown on the gauge has dropped by a couple of psi.

Is this due to the fluctuation in pressure that does happen or the way the pressure is being measured?

The car is a MY01 and peak boost is about 13psi.

Wink

if the red hose goes to the boost gauge, what is that round thing on the second photo?
if it is some kind of filter to protect the gauge from oil, that is why you get lower psi.
