which exhaust provides the best sound without being to loud and obtrusive and delivers nice power gains also for a standard MY01 impreza WRX

 

A WR Sport backbox makes the car sound nice and 'burbly' as the standard twin pea-shooter sounds too quiet!!! (These are available from your friendly Subaru dealer for £350 inc vat or keep an eye on the "For Sale" forum on here)
If you wanna go a little step further,then try a full Scoobysport system as it will release quite a few extra horses and make the car pull VERY strongly to the redline!!! Noise level is increased but not,in my opinion,over the top,I have a little 3 week old child too so don't want it too loud.... (I initially had the WR Sport backbox on mine and then went the Scoobysport route. Performance is MUCH better now and even a little more economical too!!! )

Did exactly what Nick did - started with the WR Sport - sold that and got a full SS system Lovely noise - but the better sound proofing means that it is much less noticable in the cabin. I only remember how good it really sounds when I hear Sal driving the car or I have the windows down

thanks for telling me about the scoobysport one-but now heard about the TSL firestorm one-oh decisions decisions which do i go for-why cant i win lottery then i could buy 2 cars and have one of each
