What outlets are good for used Jap import WRX and STIs?

Also does anyone know a place in Edinburgh?

McKays in Edinburgh - get an autotrader - big 2 page advert every week.

Dickons of Dunblane (OK not edinburgh, but worth the trip) is a favourite - mine came from their. Again, get Autotrader.

Good luck,
Marky-San

From what i know is that most Jap import companies in the UK use Newera imports who have an english chap based in Japan going around all the auctions, sorting out de-reg papers etc. He does take orders from the public and will find a car to your spec. He always has a good selection of scoobs on his website

Try Calder Motors... it's just off the A71 before you get to Livingston. They usually have a stack of decent imports on show and they get new stock in every week. A mate bought his Celica from then and says their service is excellent. Their site is http://www.caldermotor.co.uk

Personally, I'd avoid McKay's Trading Company.
I went to see a car there, but Kye's knowledge of the cars he was selling was sadly lacking and didn't inspire confidence.
Lovely examples, but most with patchy history, and his gen of the mods done to the cars was practically non-existent (ie at the level of "and it's got the usual big exhaust....")

Heard good things about Newera Imports and JapVillage.

Agree with Devil's about Mackays, bought my Sti from Calder Motors, no problems.

(wouldn't service it there though)

Good luck
