Cool

Is it just my car or could Subaru not be arsed in putting a proper rear reg light fitting on ???

Noticed that the bulbs were out went to change them and all they have done is put 2 very loose brackets under the bumper with 2 bulbs on the end..

No problem you yell......arrrrr you would think not - they have not used good quality brackets or screws so they are rusted to **** - and i can't get to the bloody bulbs

Anyone had the same problem - or anyone got any ideas for sorting out the problem - MOT due very soon

Think i'm just gonna drill the screws and put proper galvenised nuts on them

Same here with my 1994 WRX - I purchased the rear number plate lights and bulbs + holders from local Subaru dealer.

Sorry cannot remember how much (but not very expensive).

the lamp brackets will take to being "drilled", so you can then replace the rubbish jap bolts with decent "uk" self tappers, no problem
