Just got my pride and joy back.
The repair shop have done a great job. I suggested they might want to consider contacting SIDC group and take part in the 5% discount program.

I suppose that there must be some kind of quality check done by SIDC to ensure that only top quality outfits get recommended.

Not sure if you mean the ScoobyShop 5% thing? If so, SIDC is a completely seperate organisation to ScoobyNet. In which case, get them to go to www.scoobynet.co.uk/shop/vendors/accountapp.asp to sign up a vendor account.

If you DO mean SIDC, they have a forum at their site www.sidc.co.uk

I am keen to get as many good quality vendors signed up as possible, be it to SIDC or Scoobyshop. I used ScoobyNet rather than SIDC as it appears to have a significantly larger audience.

No motive here other than promoting decent suppliers and getting a 5% discount off future work on the scoob !
