I think i've come up with an technique, that will ensure that the muppets comply.

SDB Just got back off holiday. Pledge made and I hope all goes well.

I would suggest that you put a cooling fan bypass switch on the fan before you start. When I did a similar thing I found that the car ran very hot due to the lack of air flow through the radiator. Im sure you will have done this already but this five minute mod might just save your attempt. Do not wire it perminently on as this can have an adverse effect on the running temp especially on a low grip surface in low speed environments !
