Question

we have 1994 WRX and has stock internal engine components , we fitted HKS front mount intercooler , 3" exhaust form turbo down , pod intake , and now we want a Turbo that will bring the package together, we have heard that the vf24 for the automatic cars is a good choice as well as the 2001 turbo ....which one is the better choice or is there a better choice still ? we are looking for the best performance with least ammount of lag.

Whats wrong with the standard TD05. With the right breathing mods (exhaust, air filter) which you have, get the ecu mapped right and you shouldn't suffer excessively with lag, but you get a turbo which will pump 2 bar to the redline should you need it! The TD05 is supposed to be on of the toughest turbos out there.
