I have seen a scooby for sale at dealership which i,m thinking of buying, only problem it is white.
What are your thoughts on white.
It is a my98 with 52000 miles for £11995. I am also worried about the piston slap on my98 cars. How much of an issue is it.

£11995 seems a little expensive but i suppose these are dealer prices...

Nothing wrong with white subaru's, its just that, i've heard there is a new law coming at as soon as next April, that All Taxis have to be white... unless you already are a Taxi driver and have a car...in that case you have to change your car within 4 years from that date to a White One...

thats only 1k more than you are looking at!

It seems white is harder to sell. buy a car off here is good advice as you will save a packet. I got my MY00 for 12k on here. mail me if you wnat any tips regarding finance/inspection etc.

White taxi cars hey...? I have my own Taxi business and can't stand white cars. Nevermind, I'm gonna have to change it 4 yrs down the line

Piston Slap usally happens in the first 10-20K, 52K is quite a few miles so should be ok. Check to see if its had piston slap repaired and make sure you get warranty.
