Thumbs down

Howdy folks. Just had the MOT done and my 93WRX failed on the CO2. CO2 was OK at the slow idle but failed at fast. It was >3%. The garage was not very helpful.
I have been getting an intermittent oxygen sensor fault (code 32) but I thought this might be down to a blowing exhaust which I have fixed (I think).

If it is the lambda sensor where can I get a new one and for how much? Any ideas on to fix it gratefully recieved.

Soundsa like the Lamda sensor is failing. Mine failed in a similar manner last year.

A pattern part is available from Halfords for about £60, but make sure you get the one with the extra wires for the heater element.

Or give Grade A Subaru Breakers a call. They should be able to get one to you next day for about £25.

P.S If it's located in the header pipe rather than behind the turbo the Halfords one will have to have the wires extended and Grade A may have more difficulty locating an origional.

Good Luck....
