just flickin through the trader lookin at subarus impreza turbo's and wonderin wot is the difference between 2000 turbo and WRX?

in spec and insurance group???

2000 Turbo is the old (classic) shape Impreza Turbo. The WRX is the new bugeyed model (2001 onwards) but just to confuse you there is a japanese import model called the WRX which is also the old shape but runs around 260bhp compared to the standard 210bhp of the Uk model.

gotcha...so i shud stay away from the wrx unless i want my **** smacked by the insurance people.

A Jap import WRX can be anything from 240 to 280.

Certain models of WRX had 280 brake - I've driven a 98 WRX Wagon with 280.
