After my fanbelt coming off and the pulley coming loose several days ago, I finally got the the car back with the following done:
Subaru paid for a complete engine rebuild inc. a new crankshaft and fixing the dreaded piton slap. I know its only a sport model, but i'm glad she's back. I only paid for 12hrs labour, could'nt complain as the car is nearly 4yrs old with on time services.

Thanks to Subaru, or i may have had to fork out a hell of alot more than 12hrs labour.
