I have just seen a small picture with info in this weeks Autocar,of the restyled Legacy.
Subaru designers have done fab job by making the car look more aggresive.It has wider grille,new front bumper/spoiler,air intake and gas discharge headlamps.The car is due for showrooms in Spring 2002.
Why could'nt they have done the same with the MY01 WRX?Maybe a face lift is due for the near future.So the Legacy proves that Subaru still have some decent designers.

So why does the UK have to wait 1 year for the new shape legacys, they are available in Japan now (and for a couple of months I believe).

Very nice car .. far nicer than the bug-eyed monster (although it's growing on me

) ..

Question is are Subaru ever going to put either the engine from the Impreza WRX or the new 3.0 litre jobby (as in the outback)in the Legacy.

The thing that puts me off looking at one is the fact that neither of these engines are available (for a UK purchase).

Does anybody know if either of these options are in the pipeline?

Can you show us a picture?
They put the car first on the Japanese roads to avoid recall campaigns all over the world...other brands should do the same!
