Hi guys

Okay, I guess a silly question but I'm new to the scooby scene only had mine 4 days!!!

I read and hear the words 'dump valves' quite often. Just wondering what they do and what would make one better than another?

Regards

John

All Imp turbo's have them. Its a valve which lets the compressed turbo air release, when you take your foot off the pedal. Without it the turbo would stall. By releasing the air to either vent, or back to the air box, it allows the turbo to keep spinning, therefore power is available when you put your foot back down.

Some are just blatantly over priced, and mostly cosmetic unless you are running high boost.

Forge seems to be pick of the bunch, and well priced. I fancy the APS one from J W Racing, for technical reasons
