matching the uppipe with the turbo exhaust housing a good idea ?????

Basically the title says it all ..... I would like to hear comments, if it is a good idea getting the exhaust turbine housing machined and polished to match the header outlet. Both in the case of the regular oem upipe, or in the case of an aftermarket header with an integrated uppipe (in my case it is a 4-2-1 Syms style header).
Will this increase the turbo-lag ?????

Why not - I also matched them - just used a dremel tool - can;t hurt

I would say more so with an up pipe fitted, as this will be a lot bigger diameter than the entry to the turbocharger.
I did this when I made my up pipe, and ported the mandifolds etc.
To be honest, I didnt really feel any difference, altho it had been a while since I had drove the car, as I was rebuilding the engine too. But It certainly cant do any harm.
