when you say middle, do you mean centre section. if so prob needs welding.

Question

Can you just take it off? I'm fed up of getting mine welded up, it only lasts 5 minutes before it breaks again

Someone has suggested taking it off and using exhaust lagging tape instead as this may improve the performance of the Cat (get it hotter quicker etc)?

Mine has just started too..

Noticed it at the weekend..

If revved at a stand still at about 2500rpm on the way downs there is this vibration sound like a metal raspy rattle...

Haven't noticed it much when driving though yet..

I'll have to get under there at somepoint..

Take it off the car and then remove it either by undoing the bolts or angle grinder.

Better still buy a decatted centre section, no heatshield, no rattle
