Sorry if this has been covered before......

Was checking out my ITG panel filter and noticed it was very dirty....i was wondering if anyone can give me some instructions on how to clean the filter....

If nobody else comes up with anything, I'll get the leaflet that came with mine from the garage and let you know.

Bash,

Having just bought one of these (but not yet fitted it), straight from the leaflet:

"If the filter looks visibly clogged on the course layer of foam the following steps can be taken. The filter can be wiped with a lint free cloth to remove any surface dust and grime and if necessary a hoover can be used to encourage any deeper dust out of the filter. By massaging the nozzle on the course foam you will dislodge any debris which will then be drawn up by the hoover".

BTW, what did your insurance say regarding the addition of this filter? What are your impressions of it?

Thanks Simon.....

I have a PPP and i added the filter...did not make a difference to the insurance, coz they already had charged me for the PPP.....i am currently running on a standard filter and there is definetly a difference, more noticeable at the bottom end where i feel there is hesitation and there seems to be more lag....i will clean it this weekend and put it back and let u know what diff it makes
