I guess it's the kid in me but I need a change on the exhaust front and I want one that POPS

Can this be done with just changing the back box ?

Cool

I don't think just changing the back box will make it pop and bang. The most common route for popping and banging is vent to atmos dump valve and scoobysport down pipe. then sit back and let the good times roll..

Ade

P.S. Ive got a bailey dump valve scoobysport down pipe and Blitz centre and rear not only does this pop and bang it also sets of car alarms driving past not that i condone this or find it amusing

i have a scoobysport down pipe, standard catted centre and scoobysport back box. I have the standard re-circ BOV and I DO get pops and bangs on overrun, especially if you back off, coast a little and reapply throttle, pop's every time.

back box made the biggest difference to this, as I am sure the bangs occured before, but you couldn't hear them

I have the TSL centre and backbox and get some some nice pops on my MY01. Standard up-pipe and downpipe.

Think you'll need more than the backbox. You don't say what model you have so not sure if you have a warranty to look after, but going for a centre and backbox should be OK but you'll need to get it hot, then it should pop back to itself. Going for the full decat by also fitting a decat downpipe is a sure way of getting some nice noises, and doesn't have to be too loud.

What you have to ask yourself is how loud a POP do you want Do you want it crisp packet popping loud or shotgun LOUD with flames

What did you do with your 6x4 Magnex bb? Interested if it's for sale.
