Just been to first Scoobynet meet, and lets just say I'm very impressed, and re-motivated to modify.

Can anybody advise of the alternatives avaliable for a complete exhaust system ( Preferably De-Cat) for my MY02 STi7 Type UK.

Cheers for the help.

Darren

A de - cat is not a good idea unless you change the restrictor - speak to Scoobysport for that.

Do what I have done, remove the center section, gay backbox and small mid section cat, and replace with straight-thru scoobysport items and backbox.
More pickup lower down, much, much better sound and easily rectified if any warranty claims are required.
About £500 all in, well worth it

Question

Anyone put a Blitz nur spec R on their Type UK STi7? I'd be interested to hear any comments re performance/noise increase. Any boost issues, or check engine light problems?

I have a Nur Spec going on my STi shortly, boost shouldn't be affected as the original up/down pipe stay in place, only the mid cat is removed, and the management only monitors the downpipe cat, so no probs there either.

Thumbs up

Thanks Big Goon, just what I wanted to hear. I gather you beat me to James's Nur spec R . I've since bought a new one and have that sitting in my house now waiting for the link pipe.

Enjoy
