when i close the drivers door with the window raised it gives off a satisfying VW-type 'cluck'

if i close the door with the window all of the way down - it sounds well cheap and like it's about to fall apart!!

Is the normal or do I have a door problem?

When I get my driver's door fixed, (car park incident - not my fault, and no witnesses... Grrr) I will see if it would be possible to stop the glass rattling in the door to make it seem more solid...

Yeah mine the same even when the windows is up. The passenger side door doesn't rattle though at all.

Yup so does mine, and all the others I've tried.

VW's don't make that noise, but then they weigh alot more for all the solidness they have.
