Anyone else have this?

Really pissing me off and I cant tell what it is. Its coming from the drivers window just behind my head. Not just when going fast either.

Have an MY99 and sorry no such noises.

 

Constant? Over bumps? On acceleration/deceleration?
I get squeeks with the window down, but that's 'cos my bumper is missing some of those plasticky things that seem to hold the car together

 

I get a chirping noise with my window down - although I think it is my modified dumpvalve

Trout are you they guy with the modded Baileys DV? been trying to find out who it was. Read it a couple of months ago but haven't been able to find the thread again

 

Does it sound like morse code ??

I've got a RB5 and get this noise with the window down. I suspect/have seen mentioned that it's the wind going through the wing mirror housing.

it is modified - it chirps and chatters like a WRC - but it is a Forge RV not a Baileys. Like it a lot.

Sounds a bit like that.. Suppose if it was the mirror it would only be at speed? I get this at a crawl.

Even at slow speed you can get it through the mirror. Pull the mirror in to the closed locked postion and try driving then.
