Can the intercooler waterspray on the Sti v7 be made automatic as per the sti v5 ltd there is and extra blanking plate for the auto button

If so does anybody know how and where I could get the bits from?

Even if there's no dedicated kit for it,you can fit a pressure switch onto the induction piping which will activate it at a certain level of boost.They aren't very expensive(around £40ish).

try mrtrally they do one for around 100 pounds, the kit consists of unit which activates the pump only when a preset temp is reached and same with the boost. The temp and boost are adjustable to whatever you like.

Question

HI,

Thought the JDM was activated by boost and temp when you have the 'auto i/c' buttom pushed in. Basically I have two buttons, a manual and an auto ?

Yup, I'm using the very same one that Jamie sells and I can honestly say that it works and was well worth it.
