how do i get all the air out of coolant system

just changed some hoses on coolant system.whats the best way to make sure all the air is out b4 i go for a blat.thanx

let the car tick over with the rad cap off..... however i would let it cool back down again, as you might not get the cooling system back up to pressure..

Best thing is to remove a bit of coolant from the header tank and let the car tick over, you might find that the water will rise and start to over flow, if it does put the cap back on... and keep doing this till you see no bubbles.... you can squeeze the top rad hose to get the air out at the same time to..

Remember to top the header tank back up..!

Also helps if you turn the heater on.
