I have never heard of this happening before.

As the heading says, it's split about 4" long and growing down the RHS of the upright post.

This is the second spoiler to do this on this car, as I spoke to the original owner who had the same problem, but on the other side.
He had his replaced under warranty less than 12 months ago. Which I have the reciept for.

Is this a common problem? or are the dealers not fitting them correctly?

any help would be great.
p.s. car is going to dealers tonight for inspection, keep you posted on results.

Sounds dodgey to me, have you beem trying to break the land speed record with it on oir what!

 

I have heard of it happening on a few of the Prodrive WR spoilers

 

No land speed record attempts (not yet anyway).
just as well bloody spoiler might blow away anyway
