Doing a trackday in a couple of weeks but never been there before - can anybody tell me how wear on the brakes compares to other places like Donington or Goodwood ?

I've only been on a wet day, but I'd suggest that if you are doing the short indy circuit that wear is alot less than at Donington. You don't have the mad downhill braking into the old hairpin (after craner curves)and Dono has harder braking into the turns at the end of the 2 long straights.
Alot of people lasted a day at Brands on standard brake set-ups.
Regards
Chuck

Indy or GP?

Did Indy in the wet & had no problems with wear on my Brembo/APs

Main braking point is at the end of the straight just before Paddock . Then not so much at Druids (gravity), correcting at the bottom of the hill (Graham Hill Bend), then a dab at Surtees...

Four braking points but you're going round every minute & a bit. 1 heavy & 3 light. The Touring Car guys are using more or less the same pads and I don't recall braking being an issue.

Well it worked for me & I'm looking forward to returning there in November
