Question

Question, not a rumour; but since I have a PPP I need to run 97RON. Does anyone know if that at some stage they may phase out Super?

They should phase out 95 IMHO

I thought and sure that I had read is there is more plans for other companies to produce Optimax type fuels

Low demand

Edited to say: looks like a good excuse for EVERYONE in the UK to go out and buy an MY03 as it needs it to get the power increase just like with PPP

one reason for getting rid of super is that post Optimax not many people buy it anymore. Before Optimax most performance cars were filled with super at different petrol retailers, just a thought.

I may be wrong - but most SULs are not "low sulpher" compliant.

I believe Shell used this premise to bring out a higher - RON fuel at the same RRP due the Tax concessions as it is "low sulpher".

Could be wrong though.

I'm sure that by promoting Optimax their standard stuff also has an associated premium brand quality?
