Upgrade for stoppin and bumps

Anybody got any views / experiences about brake upgrades and suspension upgrades. I have only got the 2 pot calipers and really need to change them (17"wheels) Also looking to change the suspension. Looking at possibly AP 6 pot brake kit and Bilstien (sorry spelling) or Ohlins coil over fully adjustable. For Fast road and some track.
