Just had my oil seal changed as it was leaking and with the oil pump off we found two of the five screw's on the back had worked loose.
It seems this is not the first one that has been found.
So if you notice a small oil leak check the oil pump screw's and tighten if necessary.
Cheers Paul.

Question

Lads,

I have a small teardrop every now & then coming somewhere from nehind the engine. I have had the downpipe off but it's not much oil at all.

What I'm wondering is - where the oil pump is located so I can check the screws are tight?

Any info appreciated.

Johny.

oil pump is on the front of the engine bolted directly onto the crank.

Not easy to get to!
