I believe this is the clutch/ cover from the P1. As such, behavior is pretty much as before but less prone to the dreaded judder. I opted for the AP organic clutch and cover which is spot on. Pedal feel is much the same as before, slightly sharper bite but not annoyingly so. I'd certainly go for the AP again. Is the clutch offer coming from the Subaru dealer as a warranty job? If so I'd go with what they're offering, (which I think is the oe clutch with P1 cover.) If it's money out of your own pocket, I'd go for the AP.

Thanks for your reply,
it is my own(companys)wonga,i was told about the p1 clutch cover and bearing, but as i decided to save a small fortune by importing this option is not available to me,they(subaru uk) will only supply me with the standard chocolate clutch as that is what the dutch models would be replaced with under the pan european warrenty, and as i dont want to be faced with the same problem six months down the road i want an upgraded one.
the prodrive group n clutch is beefier than the P1 clutch acording to the supplier, can anyone confirm this. the suplier in question suggests this over a helix or AP,both good makes, but he has fitted more prodrve ones than the others and not had any problems
