Fitting STi5 Rear Spoiler
Could do with some help on this please. Have tried a BBS search but couldn't find anything sufficiently idiot proof!!
So....my STi5 spoiler should be arriving from David Reid Motorsport any day now & I'd appreciate any pointers on:
1. Removing the existing spoiler (MY99 standard);
2. Fitting the new spoiler. eg are existing two bolt fixings sufficient? I probably need to supplement with double-sided tape, but where's the best source for this - certainly not Halfords!! etc etc.
Bear in mind that my DIY skills are somewhat limited & the most I've done so far on the car is to fit new indicators!!
Any assistance gratefully received!

I'll leave Dave T-S to provide the serious response
1. Leave your car parked in Glasgow / Edinburgh for a while
2. Depends how lucky you are, sometimes they line up OK with the original screws, mine did not, so I had to drill another 4 holes in the boot for it. I further attached mine with body panel glue, I don't know where it came from as David Reid ordered it for me
but the only way it is now coming off the car is with the boot attached.

Apologies - did not reply to this - been a tad busy - let me know if you have fitted yet, if not, i'll also give you the benefit of how to fit it if you want to remove it again at a later date without a 24" jemmy........long story
