New to the forum (and Scooby ownership). I bought a bit of a project a few weeks ago - a 2002 BUGEYE WRX with no MOT (had been in storage a few years and when he took it out the EML was on so didn't send it for an MOT). Not an unusual purchase for me , plus I want to build a full on WRC replica so wasn't too concerned about the arch welding, etc. However, I have underestimated the complexity of buying a highly modified (through multiple owners) performance car

I could actually do with a friendly Subaru owner in the Motorist (Sherburn) area to compare it to (for example the factory boost control is missing with 2 plugs loose in the engine bay and a pipe??, square hole in the parcel shelf??, red button in the centre console??)..

The seller thought the EML was due to the exhaust decat but after scanning it with my Autel, I have a number of codes which don't seem related on paper but are probably one of those one thing throwing up 10 random errors. Thought I'd ask for the wisdom of you guys to see if you have any ideas...

• P0340 - Camshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Bank 1 or single Sensor
• P1507 - Idle control system malfunction (fail safe)
• P0171 - System too lean bank 1
• P0245 - Turbocharger waste gate actuator A low
• P0545 - Exhaust gas temperature sensor circuit low bank 1 sensor 1
• P1088 - Tumble generator valve 1 (right) position sensor circuit low input

Any help would be more than appreciated.
