Default Road legal exhaust - UK MOT Emissions advice.

Hi all, apologies if this has been answered many times before.

Currently I have a 3" turbo back stainless system with no cat. It says toyosport on the exit pipe but looks very similar if not the same as a lot of the 3 section pipes you get on ebay (Gravity performance etc).

I'm after advice on how to get this car to pass the MOT, I've got a quote so far for a custom downpipe with a 400 cell cat and 3 year guarentee for £799+vat, which I'm guessing should quite easily pass emissions, although this price seems a little steep.

I've been researching the Cobra sport SB26, I can save about £200 off the custom pipe but with it being only 200 cell do people have any problems getting these through the MOT? And also does anyone know if it will marry up with my current pipe, I know to look for the model with the 3" exit rather than the one with the 2.5" taper.

Any information on this would be much appreciated.

Try a custom exhaust fabricator.
I use this place https://www.richfabricationshop.co.uk/

You can also get a catalyzer of your own choice to weld into your current downpipe
