Post New Coilovers for my WRX STI 2002 - Suggestions?

[Tech Question] ST XTA Coilovers fitment on '02 STI GDB (Bugeye) vs WRX GDA Knuckles

Hi everyone,

I am looking for some technical confirmation regarding suspension compatibility for my car. I own a 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX STI (GDB - Bugeye) with 5x100 hubs.

I am planning to buy a set of ST XTA Coilovers (manufactured by KW). The seller provided me with the part number 18245804. The compatibility list for this kit mainly lists the WRX (GDA), GG Wagons, and other non-STI models. However, the vendor sent me a technical drawing of the front lower mount (clevis) asking me to verify my stock knuckle measurements.

The measurements:
  1. Vendor's Drawing: Requires a bolt hole spacing of 65mm and a clevis width (inner gap) of 26mm.

  2. My Measurement (on my '02 STI): I measured exactly 65mm bolt spacing and approx. 25.5mm knuckle width.
My Question: Since the measurements seem to match perfectly (the 25.5mm knuckle fits into the 26mm bracket), is it safe to assume that the 2002 STI (GDB) and the 2002 WRX (GDA) share the exact same front knuckle geometry regarding the strut mounting points?

I want to be 100% sure that a kit listed for a GDA/GD9 will bolt up correctly to my early GDB STI hubs before purchasing.

Thanks a lot for your help!
