Default Front shocks on widetrack blob STI

Replaced the rear shocks with KYB Ultra SRs a few years back as the originals were sticking/knocking.

While getting the car ready for winter recently I noticed the fronts are getting a bit crusty so wanted to replace.

Ordered these Ebay but turns out they don’t fit the widetrack and are instead for an 04 despite the advert stating they fit the 03-07 STI.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for picking up a set of front shocks that fit the 05 STI blob?

cheers!

The rears were done a few years back so I wasn’t planning on replacing them. Would running the front shocks in the link with the KYB Ultra SRs at the rear be a problem?

Also would the existing OEM front springs be ok for the KYBs in the link above? Or would I need new springs also? Cheers!

No

Existing oem sti widetrack springs would be fine.
A new set of WA/A2+A5 lowering springs 245/224lb/in would be £350 uk/ni delivery.
