Default Brake calipers widetrack vs narrow track

are brake calipers between wide and narrow track compatible?

I'm probably going for widetrack hubs on my wrx, but I'm wondering if i can keep my current k-sport calipers, or if i need to change to brembos. The k-sports are currently 5x100 fitment (obviously need new discs, or perhaps it’s possible to re-drill the disc hub)

the calipers themselves are no different BUT obviously the stud pattern changes from 5x100 to 5x114.3 PCD.......be aware that if you have a very old AP Racing type kit then the mounting bracket is not compatible with the later widetrack hub because of a casting change
we can / do easily solve that in general as well as undertaking various conversions to allow #widetrack' hubs to be used on 5x100 set-ups.........

aha, that is great to know! I’m just going to see what’s turning up on the pallet, but regarding the machining services, would you be able to undertake the following potentially:

- machine the k sport discs to be 114.3 pattern
- machine the front uprights to take narrow track shock absorbers

Alternatively, is it possible/advisable to modify the pcd on the hub instead? I think that would solve the rear brake issue as well, with a set of 29x mm discs with 190 handbrake hub (gc8 type-r I think &#129300
