Default 2.5 litre spark plug change

Changjng spark plugs is a job I hate on Imprezas. It was bad enough on my classic but my current STI hatch is even worse.
I had to do that job recently. The front 2 are easiest. The back 2 coil packs wouldn't clear the chassis rails. I found that undoing the engine mounts and jacking it up slightly made the job a lot easier. It does mean dropping the anti roll bar but that meant I found 2 damaged drop links so that made me feel better. I'm just waiting for the replacements now.

aye its easy when you know how doing them day in, day out

usual story of needing a load of different tools and fiddly/tight job (this is it on a hatch)

Yes mate, got 4 holidays booked in this year, trying to keep to warmer climates for health reasons.

Only got 1 regret, selling the yellow spec c, best Subaru I have owned for all round performance out the box, its good to see you have kept yours, if you are ever wanting any engine parts, let me know, I have boxes full of it.

Most of us will become rusty some day like our scoobs.
Some people still points others towards You for engine builds, they do not know about Your retirement.
Seen Hedgecutter is in two minds-keep his yellow spec C or sell as he is not happy with garages/specialists left that work on scoobs.
You two could make a deal maybe

Wish I could still do engines, I am afraid that Parkinsons has taken that choice from me.

Thanks Alyn, Its not to bad most of the time, you have to keep mobile with lots of walking & exercise, the cold months are the worst I find, hence lots of holidays, & tacking meds on time, the old saying use it or lose it applies very well to Parkinsons.
