Default Sc36 turbo, oil feed restriction valve?

Hello!

anyone using the sc36 turbo, does it need an oil feed restriction valve? If it does what size?

we don’t have one fitted, I can find info on the VF turbo range but nothing about the sc36!

I believe they are a TD05 based turbo and so would use a 1.5mm restrictor feed

Would the restrictor bolt be into the turbo or into the block? Or would it need a restricted bolt at both ends! Have taken both the bolts out and it’s a 1.5mm restrictor into the block & a standard bolt into the turbo, no restrictions

thought so! Could this be the cause of the turbo blowing random oil clouds out the exhaust? It’s a new turbo so it’s not the oil seals!
