Sorry Don it is a basic 2.0 llr non turbo hatch with the cat parts number 44620AB280
Car is 67,000 miles, good runner and all parts that are worn are replaced when required. Seems a pity to pay that much but I see the cat for that car is one fabrication of two manifolds and a cat in one unit.
It is the old story when running an old car that a certain new part makes it uneconomic to repair but with the current second hand car prices what price do I have to pay to get something similar?
On the other hand buy a new car at say £35,000 and you pay £3,000 each year in depreciation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So what is a "new age" a description of? Could that be the STI salon.
