Default TD05 16G on an EJ20x Help

Hello everyone, sorry if I missed a thread posted before about this issue, but I can’t seem to find it. I bought an EJ20x for my ‘11 WRX, as well as a TD05 16G turbo. I went to bolt it on and noticed that the compressor housing hits (what I believe are) lines for the air pump to the right cylinder bank. This causes about a 1/8” gap between the uppipe and turbo. Is there something I’m missing? This is my first Subaru build, so apologies in advance for any mistakes.

Hi there,
A couple of things,
Have you asked about this on NASIOC.com ?? Probably get more of a response.
What happened to the EJ255 in your MY11 WRX ??
How are you trying to fit the TD05-16G, if you are using the original plastic inlet manifold/intercooler arrangement ? or have you swapped everything out/changed the compressor housing to match??
The EJ20X is a JDM model engine that would have used a twinscroll turbo
In the Legacy - VF38 or VF44
In the Impreza SGT - VF47
