Default Prodrive ECU

Noob here so please go easy :-)
I have just purchased a UK 2000 Turbo that currently is stock standard, it was registered in June 2000 so one of the last of the original shape. What I am looking for is a Prodrive ECU to fit into my car (hopefully plug and play). I have seen a few comments saying that it will fit and wont fit and what code to look for. I was just about to buy one but then found another comment to say that it has 3 yellow plugs not grey so wont fit MY00. Any help and guidance would be much appreciated.

I was going to suggest getting a custom map or an ECU Labs ecu but noticed you're in the Channel Islands. The wiring from the prodrive and non prodrive should be the same so if plugs are different then yes won't be compatible.

3plug 'yellow' ECU's are from MY 97 & MY98 and do not fit or work.........

your looking for an MY00 ECU the 3plug 'grey' ECU - from mmeory it will be a "Y7" code.......
they are coded from the factory so think from memory you have to have it re-coded using dealer software to match the vehicle 'chip' key

The MY00 ecu is plug and play - not need for recoding keys. The ecu will have a pink STI sticker

I added a used PPP to my long gone '99 UK GF8. Correct ECU is SP STI 1001056110 A18-000 DIX. Plug and play on '99 and '00. You also will need a centre cat delete (resonated or straight) and a decent back box. Plus an upgraded intercooler y-pipe. I have an almost new Samco one knocking about somewhere if you go ahead with this.
